Natural Fibers

Natural fibers are innovative and modern. Being biodegradable and renewable, natural fibers conserve limited resources and do not burden atmosphere. Natural fibers are produced, processed and distributed with a continuing commitment to environmental necessities. They meet in many ways the current need for sustainable, renewable and healthy raw materials.

Natural fibers can be defined as bio based fibers or fibers from vegetables and animal origin. This definition includes all natural cellulosic fibers (cotton, jute, sisal, flax, hemp, etc.) and protein based fibers such as wool and silk.

Practically everywhere and in all countries natural fibers are produced and used to manufacture a wide range of traditional and novel products and applications.
